Integrate Google Calendar with Teament

Sync Google Calendar and create, update and manage all your events from Teament.

You’ll be able to integrate your Google Calendar with Teament if:
- You have an account on Teament (whether you’re in any paid plan or free plan).
- Your role in the platform are the following: Site Owners, Admin, PM, Teammate.

Connect Google Calendar with Teament

To connect your Google Calendar with Teament do as follows:

  1. Login to your Teament Account at https://app.teamentapp.com/login
  2. In the upper-right corner, click on your profile picture/personal avatar.
  3. Click on integrations.
  4. Once you are on integrations click on Sign in with Google.
  5. You’ll be redirected to Google to select the email you want to connect.
  6. Login to your Google Account.
  7. Follow the prompt and accept all the permissions Teament App requests you to add it to your account.

When you finish connecting your Google Account with Teament you’ll be able to:

  1. Visualize all the events you have in your Google Calendar, inside your Smart Calendar in Teament
  2. Create events inside Teament that automatically will be displayed in your Google Calendar.

Note: Once you are connected, you’ll be able to choose which calendars you want to visualize in Teament and the predefined calendar in which you’ll see all the events created from Teament.

Display events created from Teament in Google Calendar

To display an event created from Teament in your Google Calendar be sure you already connect your Google Account with Teament, if you still didn’t connect it, click here to show you how.

If you already connected your Google Account with Teament do as follow to start visualizing events created from Teament in your Google Calendar:

  1. Create a new event clicking on your calendar or in Plus Button at the top of your calendar in your dashboard or in your Smart Calendar (in the tab Calendar)
  2. A pop-up will appear to create your new event.
  3. Inside the pop-up event, a dropdown called “Calendar” will appear as follows.

  1. Click on it and select the calendar in which you want to see the event you are about to create.

  1. Click Create event.

Once your event has been created, you can see it in your Smart Calendar and in your Google Calendar.

Display Events from Google Calendar in Teament

To display an event created from Google Calendar in Teament be sure you already connect your Google Account with Teament, if you still didn’t connect it, click here to show you how.

If you already connected your Google Account with Teament do as follow to start visualizing events created from Google Calendar in Teament:

  1. Go to your Google Calendar and create an event.
  2. Go to Teament (https://teamentapp.com) and go to integrations.
  3. Once you are on integrations, click on Accounts inside Google Section and verify that you have connected the Google Account in which you created the event, if it is, please check the box of the calendar you want, then click on the dropdown, and select the calendar you want, one more time.

  1. If the Google Account that is connected to Teament doesn’t have the Calendar in which you created the event, click on Add account to add another Google Account and select the calendar in the same way we explained above.
  2. Go to your Smart Calendar, on the day and hour you created the event in your Google Calendar.
  3. The event created from Google Calendar will look like this:

  1. To edit the event created from Google Calendar, click on the event to see the preview and click on “Open Google Calendar” to edit the event.

Note: You can click on the event created from Google Calendar to see the preview, but if you want to edit the event you will need to go to Google Calendar to do so, since you can change an event created from Google Calendar on Teament.

Add more Google Calendars

If you want to add another Google Calendar on Teament, do as follows:

  1. Once logged in, go to the upper-right corner and click on your profile picture/personal avatar.
  2. Click on integrations.
  3. Once you are on integrations click on Accounts in the Google section.
  4. If the Calendar you want to add is on the account you already connect with Teament check the box of the calendar you want.
  5. If the calendar you want is on a different Google Account, click on Add account.
  6. You’ll be redirected to Google to select the email you want to connect. Login to your Google Account.
  7. Follow the prompt and accept all the permissions Teament App requests you to add it to your account.

Note: You can add as many Google Accounts as you want to have as many Google Calendars as you want in Teament.

Remove Google Calendar from Teament

To remove the Google Calendars you already connected in Teament, do as follows:

  1. Once logged in, go to the upper-right corner and click on your profile picture/personal avatar.
  2. Click on integrations.
  3. Once you are on integrations click on Accounts in the Google section.
  4. Search for the Google Account you want to remove from Teament and click on Delete account.
  5. A pop-up will appear, asking one more time if you want to unsynchronized your Google Account, click Yes, delete.
  6. Your Google Account will be disconnected from Teament.

Note: Once your Google Account is disconnected from Teament, all the events created from Google Calendar will disappear from your Smart Calendar in Teament, for security reasons. To have them back you’ll need to connect your Google Account with Teament again.
